angle 54

think about the statement of our society that this picture makes...the diminishing importance of nature in the face of modernity. perhaps? - guy incognito

a little place they call westchester co. on the hudson river. i was out visiting a client and it's even pretty with a little ice! this is the view looking north. if you look south, you can see the city but the clouds (from the expected snow!) made it difficult to see.

jacquelyn and amanda were in town and we had give them the chinatown experience. at this point, we had just walked out of the secret room... ;)

this was a little posed. ok, i'll admit - it was fully posed. we were on our way to the goto (giving opportunities to others) benefit gala. it raised money to teach arts and music to underprivileged children. my friend, sheila clabby was auctioning off some of her artwork as well. anyhow, i was getting ready (kel - i was able to wear my bridesmaid dress from your wedding!) and played around with this shot. hahaha. that's me.

since officially launching 366 angles, i've received an overwhelming amount of responses in regard to the blog. 366 angles has invoked so many conversations about photography and thoughts about life in general. in particular, a good friend of mine, adam sent me a few pics he'd taken from one of his favorite places on earth, acadia national park in maine. i wanted to post this photo to be symbolic of all the wonderful feedback i've received from this endeavor. so, thank you family and friends - it makes it all worthwhile!

angle 34

an early bedtime was nonexistent on super bowl sunday. i couldn't go to sleep due to the honking cars and screaming fans after the giants big win. in my pajamas, i went outside to see the craziness in the streets. meanwhile i looked up to see the empire state building lit up in support of their team.

angle 33

the surprise reenacted. little did mary know that brother brian and his sidekick timmy would be joining the birthday festivities.
